Homecoming hair!!?

Our homecoming is next week.. and this is my first time with a guy. My hair is black with a tint of red and pretty long.. a lil less than halfway down my back. I've done straight hair in years before, but i don't wanna do that that way this year.

Any ideas for updos.. or halfupdos.. i've tried curling my hair but it seems a little puffy since i have a lot of hair.. and very few clips hold my hair because there's so much of it..

My advice is to put your hair up in a pony tail then with a small curling iron take small sections of your hair and hairspray it then curl it and bobby pin it all around your pony tail to hide it. I had my hair done like this for my prom and I have long and very thick hair. It just takes lots of patience, hairspray, and bobby pins.

You could also look at craft stores like Hobby Lobby for accessories to put in your curls that would match your dress.

if you like it straight, straighten it, but flip the ends out!

or straighten it all, and then curl a few peices, and put it half way up (half up, half down) =]
