Ladies hair cutting in front part of head?

Nowadays I see girls and ladies do hair cutting in the front portions of their head. They cut their long hair to 2 inches in front portions of their head. Some cut their side burns hair also. They cut the hair about 2 inches length from forehead till the centre of their head. Please tell me is it to avoid clipping or pinning hair pins in the front locks of hair? I personally feel it doesn't look good for some girls especially who have long hairs. Cutting long hair to 2 inches length of front locks of hair is terrible. Please comment

I find it pretty cool.. It's not that bad u know especially on kids. It makes the face more bright n even if u have long hair, its not necessary to cut much if it for the front bangs. Be more positive.

I have bangs, they're... they're just nicer looking. Mine are 2-3 inches long and swept to the side. Fairly easy to style, but I say it depends on the shape of your face, really.

exuse me haha sorry but i love my bangs. there off to the side and from 3-6inches i guess longer as they go down. i think they look better.
