Hi i cant tye my hair up?

hi do you have any ideas, my hair is really layered with short layers and i never get the chance to tye it up because its really short layers and when I try at the back lots of hair comes out, its really annoying because I want my hair down sometimes! I have a side fridge aswell, and I like to not clip that up, but at the back I want it all tied up, do you have any ideas how to tie it up? I just want a regular ponytail if you know what I mean?

Put your hair up in a ponytail, then put on the headband so it kind of looks like this
