Blue Streaks in Long Dark Brown Hair.?

I saw a few things online, but not really helpful to me.

For along long long time, i've wanted to put some dye in my hair. Streaks preferably. However, my hair is dark brown and about to my hips/usually at waist.

I would like blue streaks. Only I know i'd have to bleach? Then theres the fact that if I don't like it, I have to grow it out. Grr.

I saw some people suggest clip in extentions...I guess thats not a bad idea. Its just the pain of putting them in and taking them out. Not to mention its fake.

I usually use hair sticks, like in my avatar, only I have hair that will usually be out, like a pony tail-either to my mid back or below shoulders, however I feel. So I think it'd look cool with streaks...

What do you guys think? Well, im not aksing what you think, but im asking if you have used any good products that will stay in for a few weeks, wont damage my hair bad...or if anyone has tried the clip in extentions, and if its worth a try.

Well you already know you have to bleach it. If your aren't sure you should just put streaks under the bottom part of your hair that way if you don't like them you will not have to show them. And i like Manic panic it stayed in my hair for a few weeks.

first of all if u want it to be easier to handle u should cut ur hair maybe like 1 inch at least. but if u dont thats fine as well. since u have dark brown hair like i do its hard for the color to show. ull need to bleach ur hair my suggestion is to not do it urself because u can easily damage ur hair. go to a salon and let them do it they are pros and they can make it rlly nice. i got blue streaks in my hair too but my hair is a little longer than shoulder length. and if ur worried about how it will turn out tell them to do a few and see how it looks dont over do them or else it will look bad. gud luck =)
