School pictures hairstyle?

school registration is tomorrow and that means pictures.

i have layered, thickish hair that is about an inch shorter than shoulder-length. i also have side bangs. and my hair is light brown.

my spiraler just broke so all i have are bobby pins, those big hair clips like this:

http://www.goodhairdays.com/hair-clip-fi...

ponytails, 1 and 3 inch curling irons, crimper (doesn't work too well though) and a whole bottle of hairspray.

any ideas of what i can do?

School pictures hairstyle?

wear yur hair down with a yur side bangs out with a bright head band tht matches yur outfit.mist yur hair with hairspray this will tame yur flyaways

School pictures hairstyle?

WEAR IT DOWN

School pictures hairstyle?

That early. I start school on the fourth of september.

School pictures hairstyle?

Just curl your hair with a 3inch curling iron. Make it look really natural. Big, loose waves. Hold it with some hairspray, not too much, or it will shine in the pictures.

Take a side part, pull a low ponytail to the opposite side of your side bangs. No hairspray so far. But if you want to go further, you could totally curl the bottom of the ponytail.

Don't do something that is totally in fashion right now, do something more classic, that won't look dorky by the time year books are out.

I'm 15, devote my life to reading fashion and hair magazines, live in California, so take my advice!

School pictures hairstyle?

whatever you do think about looking at this picture 20 years from now. so don't pick anything too wild.

School pictures hairstyle?

man! i dont know what i'd do if my spiraler broke.

i can't believe you dont have a straightener?

you should make a bump in the front of your hair. and then tease the rest of it and spray it to hold.

School pictures hairstyle?

I Think You Should Wear It Down.

But From Time To Time,

Try Doing It In Different Funcky Ways.

It's Mad Cute When You Do Your Hair

In Many Different Styles, And Not

Your Usual Up And Down. =]

School pictures hairstyle?

DONT PUT IT DOWN! my sis did that in 5th grade and she had glasses and braces, hair back...'ough said. but since u r the important one, wear it down, braid it in shoulder pigtails, put in some hott clips, wear a haedband, part your hair deeply to the side, borrow a friend curling iron and curl/crimp it, or flip it with a friends' straightener. GOOD LUCK, CHICA!

Do entensions ruin your hair?

hey. im getting extensions today. i have the ones that just clip into your hair that are removeable, im not sewing them in or anything.

do these ruin your hair?

Do entensions ruin your hair?

No. They are just clipped into your hair. The do as little damage as a regular hair clip.

Do entensions ruin your hair?

They shouldnt damage your hair if they are applied correctly. Also make sure you ask your hairdresser how to maintain them so that you dont cause unneeded breakage to your own hair.

Do entensions ruin your hair?

not really, if there sewen in yes but in your case i dont think so

Do entensions ruin your hair?

nope! they are safe.. but take care when you brush them.. because it hurts T_________T

Do entensions ruin your hair?

I dont see how they would ruin your hair. They just clip in and that's it. The only thing i can see you possibly damaging your hair is if you have to backcomb ur roots to help it stay in better. Some extensions you do not have to, and others you do. If you do have to back comb it, just be careful b/c it is very easy to break your hair. :)

Do entensions ruin your hair?

no because your just clipping them in. if you were glueing or sewing yes it would.

make sure your hair is well washed befour bc extentions have a diff volume of hair themm yours and its gonna be easier for you to style you own hair with the extention.

Goodluck with your hair.

Do entensions ruin your hair?

NO, their just clipped onto the hair you have.

It's just like hairclips.

Do entensions ruin your hair?

IMPORTANT.

i have the clip in hair extensions as well, and yes they CAN potentionally ruin your hair. To avoid ruining your hair, and prevent getting something called traction alopecia, then you:

a)should NOT sleep in them.

b) wear them 6 hours or less.

c) try to avoid brushing them when they are in your hair

d) try to avoid wearing your hair up tightly for a long period of time with them in.

Traction alopecia can be caused by clip in hair extensions if you do not advise by the aforementioned precautions.

Traction alopecia is hair loss from constant tugging on your hair, and can result in permanent hair loss by destroying your hair follicles.

All in all though, clip in hair extensions are by far the least damaging and more than likely you should be a-okay. :)

Interested in hair extentions?

depends on where you go to, I charge 3.00 per piece. It's around 450- 600 dollars I usually do around 150 to 200 pieces. Some places charge alot more depending if they are certified by a company. I am not, because I learned in beauty school. You can go to www.hairextensionguide.com they have quite a bit of info that may be helpful on different methods and care. You will want to make sure they use a good quality hair and make sure that you will be willing to follow all the directions to make sure your hair will stay in it's best condition. Good Luck!!!

If you get your ins clipped on your hair will it gow faster.?

You can do several things to help hair growth. The best is to take some vitamin E or increase vitamin E in your diet. Also scalp massage, getting regular trims, and some people swear by using horse shampoo and conditioner (gives you silky and shiney hair).

If you get your ins clipped on your hair will it gow faster.?

no it will not grow faster. but it might keep it might keep it from breaking off, which will result in your having longer hair than you would have.

If you get your ins clipped on your hair will it gow faster.?

well in the long run yes. when only your ends are cut routinly, it keeps your hair from splitting, then breaking off. this is true for all types of hair.

Pentacostal women and their hair...?

Can a pentacostal woman wear a wig if she is going bald? If so can she wear a short haired wig? I ask because I know that their hair is their Crown of glory or something like that and they are not allowed to cut it. But I seen 3 pentacostal women at the mall buying those clip on ponytail things. Since then this question has racked my brain.

Pentacostal women and their hair...?

They can wear wigs, weave, or whatever they want in their hair. Their religion has nothing to do with their hair. Don't take that scripture too literally. It didn't mean women couldn't put things in their hair or wear wigs, weaves, etc. Your hair is at the top of your body, your body is supposed to be your temple and the head is where the crown would be.

Pentacostal women and their hair...?

They are trying to be like Samson......strange....

Pentacostal women and their hair...?

How do you know they were Pentecostal? Did you ask them? I have seen Baptist that wear the long skirts and long hair.

The Bible does say that a woman's hair is her glory. I am so sorry, but that long stringy hair is not very glorious.

Maybe if they were to go bald they would wear an Amish type cap.

Does Wearing Your Hair In A Bun Damage Your Hair?

My hair is really damaged because I wear it in a ponytail a lot, so I tried wearing it down to stop further damage and hated it. So I'm wearing it in a bun now.

Is it damaging my hair just as much as the ponytail?

It's not a tight bun. I mean it falls after a few hours and I need to redo it again.

I just can't find any cute clamps or clips to hold my hair up with :(

Does Wearing Your Hair In A Bun Damage Your Hair?

I don't think it's as damaging to your hair esp. if you keep your ends hid away in the bun, then they're not exposed to the elements. Try using some hair pins (not bobby pins) to keep your bun in place w/ a light spray of hairspray %26amp; shine spray. Try wearing your ponytail or bun in different positions on your head also (high, low, etc.) that way different areas are receiving stress from the ponytail holder. Also make sure you use a ponytail holder that's metal free %26amp; covered (no rubberbands) so there's less snagging on the hair.

Does Wearing Your Hair In A Bun Damage Your Hair?

Well if its loose its not bad,but i would wear it down with a clip or maybe a lose french braid.Or you can just get a realy short Cute hair cut.

Does Wearing Your Hair In A Bun Damage Your Hair?

I found a really nice clip at walmart that prevents a lot of damage from this kind of thing. i think it is called an 'octopus'. try that. also, don't use rubber bands if at all possible. if you wrap a strand of hair around the scrunchy and pin it with a bobby pin before finishing your bun, you will keep it in longer. hope this helps

Does Wearing Your Hair In A Bun Damage Your Hair?

the damage to your hair is caused not only by ponitals but also by the dryness and things in your hair .. you might want to try vo5 hot oil in the shower it fixes alot of the damage in your hair and its pretty cheep just fix the hot oil treatment up as the box directs sit it in your hair for 1 min and shampoo and condition your hair as normal do that 1 time a week for a few weeks and it helps alot and if you want cute clips try going to like claires or somthing in the mall that has alot of hair stuff . the big clips work really well for giving you like a messy ponytail which most people love the look of

regular brain

scrunch your hair

I need some help with my hair?

work with curls.

you may want to try a low side pony tail with some soft curls, but don't over- do it.

add some simple but chic earrings for a little extra greatness.

I need some help with my hair?

omg curling will never go out of style, somedays go with big culs and some days go with small ones

I need some help with my hair?

try some high, cute buns; braids are adorable, plus guys like them. Also, you could give yourself really cute curls. Not like the waves crimping gives you, but the kind you can get with a curling iron. Another thing you can do is, if you have naturally curly hair, put some Garnier Fructis soft curl creme on it and it won't pouff and it looks adorable ;)

I need some help with my hair?

Curling your layers and face frames in looks really cute! You could do a side braid, or a messy bun. You could do an updo, or maybe even a wrapped ponytail! You could get some variations with your ponytail. You could tease it, to creat body, wrap it, braid it, curl it, or anything else! What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

I have really long hair with highlights in it. I seem to always have it up in a messy bun or a high ponytail with a jaw clip. I don't want in getting in my face, so I always have it up unless I'm washing it. What are some cute styles I can do for when school starts that don't take up a whole lot of time, yet still look cute, since my hair is long and straight, and I don't want it to be up all the time?

What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

Have it cut in long layers, this way you can keep your length but add more dimention %26amp; style to your hair. When you blow dry your hair use a round brush %26amp; give yourself some flips, but once you get to the very top layer of hair curl it under. It's such a pretty style that's how I do my hair %26amp; it looks great!!

If you need anymore help feel free to ask or you can visit my forum:

What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

how about a long layered haircut? The biggest mistake you can make is sticking with a style that isn't working for you.

What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

i believe in away their are no cute styles//// you can pull out of your face and place 1/2 in bun.. or messy pony.. i have the same problem

What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

i really like it when girls straighten their hair but thats just me.

What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

perm

What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

a pony tail

What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

I like French braids; they look elegant and control the hair really well.

What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

Check out the chick in Superman II. She looks great with short hair! Oh, wait, I just read your question correctly this time. Um, I guess get it all curly, then pull it back except for a few tendrils that fall upon your temples. Very sassy.

What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

the french braid!!!!!

What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

well u can always have it curly just add moose and hairspray or straight it and if u dont want it all over your face just make it half a ponytail with a ribbon tide up in a bow that will look so cute

What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

Part it in different sides, zig zag part and also use the new textured pomades to give it more texture. Or maybe get layers cut to frame your face.

What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

I like the first look you are talking about. The other option might be a brade of some sort. The long fat one with three strands is great.

What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

CRIMPS or braids

What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

wavy curls orr krinkled.

What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

how about getting it permed into wavy hair and getting some bangs? When you let your hair down it'll look very *cute* and when you put it up you'll still have the bangs to make your hair style look different to its norm.

What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

maybe long layers and side bangs ... but starting so that they are long enough to still go back in a ponytail or behind your ears

What are cute hairstyles for long hair?

I've always thought pigtails are cute, and give the distinct appearance of youth. It also gets your hair off the back of your neck for those hot days, is as quick and easy as doing 2 pony tails (one for each side of your head), and can be positioned high or low depending on your length and style. There are a few other variables you can add to the mix for a change of appearance if you want, like colour, curl, artificial strands, accessories and gels. any combination used can create a fun, quick adjustment for that day, one of the millions of combinations that can be used. Get creative and enjoy the experience of expressing yourself through the your appearance. Expressions like lust, discipline, compassion, humility, courage, etc, all come through in your self presentation, so pay attention to the effect that your choice causes. Don't get paranoid about it, anxiously concerned with how people might see you in this or that, just play trial and error, ask questions and be aware of what you want and what is happening. If what is happening is not what you want you have 3 choices:

Change the circumstance, and create your destiny

Change yourself, and accept it as "is", inside your vicinity.

Remove yourself from it, accepting it as "is", outside your vicinity.

Calcium and Hair Growth?

Hello, about 7 or 8 months ago I went to Great Clips and had my hair cut short, it is now about shoulder length and I want it to grow long, I don't know of any shampoo's or conditioner's for hair growth, but I know calcium is supposed to help you grow, I am just wondering if by increasing my intake of calcium could that speed the process of my hair growth

(Also if you know of any shampoo's or conditioner to help speed hair growth please tell.)

Thank You

Calcium and Hair Growth?

My hair is thigh length. That's right, I said "T-H-I-G-H". Your best bet would be-No Cutting. I know that thought makes you cringe, but that is the best policy. Let Nature make her course and your locks will blossom! Good Luck!

Calcium and Hair Growth?

Unfortunately there are ultimately no solutions to making hair grow faster. Calcium will definitely make your hair healthier, but that's where it ends. I know your pain, I've been there myself. And after asking every hair professional I know, this was the answer I was given. Good Luck!

Calcium and Hair Growth?

A lot of people will say NOTHING will make your hair grow faster - but that's untrue.

First of all, I've never heard of increasing calcium intake but I think you should check out the website below because it has a list of different Vitamins, Minerals, etc. that will help hair growth.

http://growafrohairlong.com/foods.html

I don't know about any shampoos or conditioners increasing hair growth but I have heard of Boundless Tresses and it's worked for a LOT of people.

http://growthspecifics.com/2.html

If you are trying to grow your hair very long, like bra strap length, waist length, classic length, or longer you should try keeping a hair journal or signing up for a forum that has people dedicated to growing out long hair like the website below.

http://www.longhaircairforum.com

Try not to cut or trim hair but just "dust" every 3-4 months so you can retain the length that you grow.

Most people grow hair at about 1/2" a month, but with Boundless Tresses my sister has grown her hair 1" a month - that means an extra 6" a year!

Well, good luck. 閳?br>Calcium and Hair Growth?

1.put rosemary oil in ur hair or coconut oil

2. Drink water(LOTS)

3. Execerise %26amp; eat Healthy

4. Stand on your head for 10 mins (5min in the morning%26amp; 5 mins at night)

5. go to wal-mart and get this tablets called "Hair, Skin, %26amp;Nails"....=] (in a pink case)

6. BE PATIENT!!!

=]

Calcium and Hair Growth?

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

Trim your hair tips every 4-6 weeks.

I went to get my hair cut and the stylist cut my neck!?

On Saturday I went to a Great Clips to get my hair cut. I usually go to a barber that I know in town - but this time was rushed.

The stylist that was assigned to me was obviously very new. The haircut went fairly OK. She seemed very nervous and to be honest the haircut took much longer than expected.

At the end the stylist used the electric clippers to trim my hair line - it hurt slightly, but I figured that this was just the way the clippers worked.

So I went about my day and I realized that my neck was burning pretty bad - very painfull. I looked in the mirror and saw the back of my neck and there is this dark red cut across my neck!

It has been about 2 days since I had my hair cut.. there is a pretty deep cut right at my hairline. It burns constantly.

I wrote an e-mail to Great Clips corporate. They basically said that the store I went to is franchise owned so they can't do anything! What should I do about this?!?!

I went to get my hair cut and the stylist cut my neck!?

Haul your hinny back to that shop and let the manager know what happened. At the very least you should be reimbursed for the cut. As a hair stylist and instructor, I would never let something like this slide. The stylist may have been new, but she and the manager need to know immediately what happened. She may have a set of clippers badly in need of new blades. You will be doing yourself, the salon and any future customers a service by going back and and bringing the issue to light.

I went to get my hair cut and the stylist cut my neck!?

Go back and speak to the manager of that particular location. Take pictures of the back of your head in case it heals before you get the situation resolved. They owe you at least a refund for the cost of your haircut and an apology.

I went to get my hair cut and the stylist cut my neck!?

Sue the franchised establishment itself. Get a lawyer to help.

I went to get my hair cut and the stylist cut my neck!?

You need to go back to that establishment and speak with the manager. I don't think a law suit is necessary but I think you should get your money back since the stylist did such a poor job.

I went to get my hair cut and the stylist cut my neck!?

I suggest going back to where you got your haircut and tell them what happened. They should refund your money.

"Sue the franchised establishment itself. Get a lawyer to help."

That is ludacris. It's a minor problem, and it shouldn't be blown out of proportion. I swear, people will do anything to get a buck.

I went to get my hair cut and the stylist cut my neck!?

Go to the shop and show the management the cut. Also, ask someone to take photos of the cut. Insist that the shop pay for your medical treatment. Cuts on the head or neck are very serious if they develop infections because they are very close to the brain.

All these people have to carry liability insurance or they cannot open the business.

You can contact the Department of Health and notify them too.

My son cut his neck shaving and almost died when it became infected.

I went to get my hair cut and the stylist cut my neck!?

Her trimmers were probably old or not properly oiled. But me being a stylist myself, I don't think you should get all crazy and get her in trouble.......accidents happen, I am sure this was not intentional. But the next time you are in a crunch, ask for a advanced stylist.....this will at least ensure that you will have someone who knows how to use their equipment properly. If you are not bleeding to death then get over it! You have learned your lesson, or you could be constructive and call the girl and let her know her trimmers are bad and that she may want to ask someone how to use them so she doesn't cut someone else.

I went to get my hair cut and the stylist cut my neck!?

go to the franchise owner. There is a manager in each store or at least a receptionist in the store who could give you that information.

But ask yourself a few questions: What are you going to say to them? What do you want them to do? Do you just want to complain about the bad haircut? If not...ask yourself a few more questions.

Have you had this type of hair cut before? Did the clippers ever feel that way any other time? Did you complain at the time that it hurt? Did you look at your hair cut with the mirror while you were there? Was it bleeding?

Did you pay for this service? Did you tip?

Did you suffer? Did you go to the Dr? Are you treating it at home?If nothing else, use some neosporin on it so it wont get (more) infected.

I went to get my hair cut and the stylist cut my neck!?

Go back into that salon and show them. Talk to the manager if you have to.

I went to get my hair cut and the stylist cut my neck!?

just suck it up and take it like a man, u new what was comin when she took that long to cut it, so dont worry about it, its gonna go away, and no u cant sue if thats what ur doin, if u new she was a beginner u should have just asked for some one else

How often should i relax my hair and what is the best product out there?

I've always used a boxed perm before. My hair started to break off and my buddie told me to slow down on the relaxing. So i did. And now my hair is kinda get out of control. I haven't had one in for about 4 months now. I would also like to know how often i should clip my ends and how much should i take off?

How often should i relax my hair and what is the best product out there?

Relaxing should be done every 6 to 8 weeks, depending on how fast your new growth comes in.

The best relaxer is a professionally dispensed one, like Affirm or Mizani, but not boxed perms. They dry your hair out the worst! But conditon, condition, condition!

There is also a lot of buzz about the Phytospecific perm, but I'm not sure if you want to put alot of $$$ into it ($60 for the perm, then pay someone to put it in). Plus there are so many different results, some good, some neutral, I wouldn't mess with it right now.

Trimming ends should happen every 6 to 8 weeks, prob. around the time you get a relaxer retouch. I usually wait until the first shampoo after the retouch.

How did you wait 4 months without a retouch- WOW!

How often should i relax my hair and what is the best product out there?

you should use tresamae

How often should i relax my hair and what is the best product out there?

Relax your hair as seldom as possible.

The best product out there, the Toyota FJ Cruiser. It can go anywhere!

How often should i relax my hair and what is the best product out there?

OK... sista girl... it depends on what type of hair you have... See my moms is white.. daddy is black... and I have oil/dry/thick/wavy hair.... so I am in the middle and it all depends on the weather forreal. In the winter i get my relaxers 3-4 mos apart. In the summer 1-2mos apart, cause of the heat and humidity. It messy with me bad...

i get the short in of the stick. I only go to the salon to get relaxers.. that way I can get it treated at the same time... any other time I am at home.. rollin my own hair up. But if I have to use a relaxer at home.. I use proactive... (white bottle red/black lettering) or motions... these cannot be purchased in a box.. they have to be bought from hair store and they are in bottles.... make sure you get the shampoo that matches the perm.. otherwise you are in for a good burning. Also.... you are only suppose to relaxer your hair when you get new growth ( I am sure u know what that is... new hair growth....).. but anyway... about and 1in to an 1 1/2 in length.. depending on the texture of your hair... if you have true... ****** hair, you will do it at 1in... me I do it about 1 1/2 to 2 in.

Good luck......... happy styling!

Aahh! dry damaged hair!?

hello! i am a swimmer.. i swim almost 4 to 6 times a week.

from the clorine, my hair gets bleached (which i don't mind a lot), dry, and damaged.. (split ends etc.) i use sunsilk hydra tlc shampoo and conditioner. for thirty hair prone to split ends like mine. is there anything i can use for my hair becuase i also found out that my hair gets more tangly and hard to brush.

Another thing.. i went to great clips to get my hair done because i had a party to go to. and the lady said that i need a special kind of shampoo and conditioner bcuz regular S. and C. will not work.. but my mom didn't get it bcuz she said that it will only work if i stop swimming. but i still do, so we left.

is there anything i can use that i can get from any drugstore?

Aahh! dry damaged hair!?

Try a leave in conditioner.

Aahh! dry damaged hair!?

you should get garnier fruitis or head and shoulder shampoos, any will work for your hair..

Aahh! dry damaged hair!?

You can go to Sally's they have conditioner that is great. It is about $12 bucks and it is good so you only have to use a little. The name of it is: Natures therpy, it is made by loreal.

Aahh! dry damaged hair!?

Hi Reina..hope I can help. Due toyour swimming, thebest you can do for your har is use LOTS of conditioner! Do u ue a cap for swimming?? Apply your conditioner, only from your ears down. Braid your hair and swim. As for organtic shampoo and conditioner I suggest one of 2 products. Either Brocato S and C or damaged hair or Nexxus Phyto Organics Extreme moisture. Do not stop your swimming. Don't use alot of the professional products because a dime or quarter sized amount is all u need. Show this to your mom..hope it all works out!

Interdimensional Being blue hair no earhole?

It's a hoax. Interdimensional being are NOT blue. They are usually white, have a long tail, and whiskers. They are usually found inside labs, running an experiment on humans.

They have been here for years!

Ask Deep Thought. He'll tell you.

Interdimensional Being blue hair no earhole?

It is a hoax,A big fakeroo.It's the Sci-fi network.Inter dimensional beings yikes.

Interdimensional Being blue hair no earhole?

"Perhaps---"presumably, the inter dimensional beings have the ability to bend space, warp time and communicate telepathically, they may be in possession of the ultimate keys to the physical laws, which govern the universe."

Does anyone know where I can find the old jingle, "Curlers in your hair, shame on you." fr

I'm looking for a sound clip of this old jingle from Clairol Kindness Hairspray.:

Curlers in your hair shame on you. Keep America beautiful, don't wear curlers.

Thanks.

Does anyone know where I can find the old jingle, "Curlers in your hair, shame on you." from Clairol?

You might simply contact the Clairol company; they may have it available so that it could be sent to you.

Clip-in extentions for hair: are they bad for the hair??

i wear them everyday and they kinda pull my hair sumtimes and im worried that they bdamage your hair becasue whenever you take them out they pull on the remaining hairs still kinda tangled in them....im worried anyone know?

Clip-in extentions for hair: are they bad for the hair??

My daughter has them. They are so much better than glueing to the hair. She wears them alot. It would be good to give her hair time without them but she loves them. It seems to not damage her hair too much.

Clip-in extentions for hair: are they bad for the hair??

dont worry about it they are worth the slight loss of hair.

Clip-in extentions for hair: are they bad for the hair??

they dont have any bad effects it may let your hair fall out prematurely

Clip-in extentions for hair: are they bad for the hair??

I think wearing them everyday can put some strain on your hair. I would probably go a week without them to give your hair some time off... condition your hair and just make sure your not doing something permanant!!

Clip-in extentions for hair: are they bad for the hair??

i dont think so. the clips are just like normal hair clips so i wouldnt have thought so.

Clip-in extentions for hair: are they bad for the hair??

yes. whats wrong with your normal hair?

Clip-in extentions for hair: are they bad for the hair??

I don't really think they are damaging to your hair, my cousin has been wearing them for a few years now and her hair is fine, so just be careful with them and you should be fine.

Clip-in extentions for hair: are they bad for the hair??

The additional weight is stress on each hair that you clip to. You will get breakage from the tangling and from the additional weight of the extensions.

Clip-in extentions for hair: are they bad for the hair??

Like Gary Sinise so nicely said in 'Ransom,' it "shouldn't be a problem."

Clip-in extentions for hair: are they bad for the hair??

I'm a cosmetologist student, and just to let you know they are bad. Because they pull your hair, and when your hair is pulled at the wrong angle you can destory the base (papilla) and then endanger yourself from hair growth in that spot.

Clip-in extentions for hair: are they bad for the hair??

no worries, your hair wont be damaged =)

Clip-in extentions for hair: are they bad for the hair??

umm no they arent but the reason why they are tangled because ur not brushing ur hair enough [ both fake and real] try brushing your hair more =]]

Does anyone know where to get good hair extensions that aren't too expensive??

hi!! im 14 years old and am DYING for some hair extensions. i have dark brown hair with some highlights and want 2 know if anyone knows where 2 buy some good, but not-expensive hair extensions?? i was wondering if the one's at the salon were good also (the ones that aren't clip on) and if anyone knows where 2 get them for cheap in orange county.

thanks so much for all your help. i really appreciate it!!

Does anyone know where to get good hair extensions that aren't too expensive??

Orange county california? Have you ever heard of a place called Cassy's? It's like the best place to get hair extensions and they have every kind under the sun. It's in Tustin...if you google it I think it's called Cassy's beauty evolution or something like that. They are very helpful. That's where I get my hair arsenal including my hair extensions. In the mean time you need to do your homework and figure out what type you want.

Do you want synthetic or human (go for human hair extensions because you can do whatever you want to them)? Long or short? Straight or curl? Clip in, sew in, glue in or lace front? What's your budget? Can you afford to buy the hair and get them installed at a salon? Here's a web forum by black ladies who can help you. Go to the extension/weaves section: http://forum.blackhairmedia.com/

Does anyone know where to get good hair extensions that aren't too expensive??

Sally Beauty Supply, they are like $10

Hair extensions.. please help!?

I bought hair extensions yesterday at Sallys, and the girl there told me it would be cheaper if I but the extensions and the clips separate and then sewed the clips on, so that's what I did (as opposed to getting the hair that already has the clips on it). It took me forever and was NOT that easy, but I cut the hair (into sections) and then sewed two clips on one of the pieces.

My problem is.. #1 they don't really seem to stay in that well.. and #2, how do I put more than one "layer" on and have them stay? Like if I cut the hair into sections and sew clips on each section, it's not going to work for me to just clip layer upon layer upon layer.. it won't stay.

PLEASE HELP!

Hair extensions.. please help!?

Yeah these things are tricky, the hair clips themselves are small which does not help at all. If your looking for a layered look, you want the hair towards the top of your head shorter the toward the nape and neckline area.. if your hair is already layered, you want to cut the the same or shorter than the shortest layer you have, then work your way down.. if your pulling your hair up and you want them really tight, there's no reason you cant secure them with bobby pins in an x shape. they wont budge. The reason the are small is most of the time people only get them for a few here or there for affect. You could always hot glue the to the hair clip to, just dont use alot, try to keep the seam small in between..

Hair extensions.. please help!?

Well, i'm obviously not an expert, because i've never had them. But personally, I really suggest that you go back to the hair salon, or where you purchased them, and ask them about this. Because it's your hair , and it's precious. See, if they can clip them in for you, or fix them.

I've been considering clips-in's really seriously.

I just had some questions about the cost and such.

my e-mail is shell_15@hotmail.com

I just need to talk to someone about this, before I make the decision to get them, if you could get back to me that would be great. Sorry, I can't be much of a help, but I wish you the best of luck ! :)

About REAL Hair Extensions?

I have 2 daughters ages 16 and 17. They both wear long hair extensions. My 17 year old clips them in everyday and my 16 year old glues hers in. They are real hair. You can't notice the difference, as long as your hair colour matches. You can also dye real human hair to. You can do everything with them curl, flat iron, wash them daily, swim. Whatever you want. You can purchase them usually at most malls or where they sell beauty supp;lies, wigs. You can do anything you want to real human hair as if it was your own. My girls have been wearing extensions for over a year. My preference would be to clip them in. You have to be careful when gluing, build-up. If you have them braided in I think they destroy your real hair. I don't like it that way. Stick with the clipons if you can. In Canada I pay anywhere from $60-$100 for a package. Then I cut long strand to fit the head, then decide what you want to do buy the clips or glu them in. You need to have someone do it for you, at the beginning. You will be able to learn to do it yourself.

About REAL Hair Extensions?

You can find them at beauty supply stores and they can be anywhere from $60-$200. You can clip them in or weave but I have the clip in ones and I love them! No I wouldn't wear the clip in ones when u r swimming or taking a shower but you obviously have to wear the glue or sewn in ones swimming since you can't take them out. I definitly recommend the clip in ones b/c the sewn in ones tend to ruin your hair and the clip ins last a long time.

Blonde hair? - bleach or tint? ( Professional advice needed)?

I have an inch below the shoulder hair which has been attacked with colour over the last 3 years I started off pasteing on bleach to my roots myself then my friend use to apply bleach in foils on my roots and now i use tint 11n with a squirt of blonding cream with 30 vol and foil the roots. Is this the best way to colour my hair as I do want to stay blonde. its so thin now as has been ruined through bleaching. I have been clipping in blode hair extensions when i have modelling/promotion jobs as my hair is a state.Help if you can??

Blonde hair? - bleach or tint? ( Professional advice needed)?

ok, well first of all- why on earth are u bleaching ur roots!? if ur hair is light enough u should be able to get a lift just using 40 volume developer mixed with ur color, and u shouldn't just use any bleach either- bleach is not intended for coloring new growth unless- it's blondor (bleach that can be applied to scalp- made by wella hair products), u don't always have to bleach and color- u can use a bleach wash to lighten ur hair also- that's when u mix bleach with equal part of shampoo- together and work it through to lighten- it won't cause as much damage as just using plain bleach. u can also do a soap cap( used only to freshen up ur color) soap cap is the mixed color with shampoo and leave it on for about 10-20 minutes and rinse out. all these tips are just so u can be more informed on coloring ur hair- i don't however suggest u do this urself- go to a professional to get ur hair done- i've seen many cases of at home coloring experiments. hope this info helped u.

Blonde hair? - bleach or tint? ( Professional advice needed)?

You would be better off just having blonde highlights - sounds like you have damaged your hair.

Blonde hair? - bleach or tint? ( Professional advice needed)?

tint

Blonde hair? - bleach or tint? ( Professional advice needed)?

Get a nice wig and leave your hair alone!

that was kinda blunt, but in my professional opinion, you not only have damaged your hair, but your scalp. Keep messing with it and you will destroy the hair folicles and matrix of where your hair comes out and wind up bald!

Trust me, get wigs if your paycheck depends on it.

Hair tips?

ok well i have just over shoulder length stright hair. i need a hair style that will blow my man away. now i only have few recorces, a curler, hair spray, ties and brish, clips, and some other hair products. does anyone have any kool styles? i only have 2 hours!!!

Hair tips?

My hair is a little longer, but this'll work well for you. Part your hair diagonally, very sharply though, has to be an obvious difference on each side. From the longer side, go about 1/2 way back and grab about 50 strands (its not much) spray/gel heavily and from the tip loosely roll around something about the size of your finger. By the time you roll it to the root, its a pretty thick little circle and should be bobby pinned down 2x. So now you have a thumb sized circle on the top of your head right at the part. Now next to that one do the same thing, repeat until you have 5 circles, remember to get them good with gel/spray. Now you should have OOOOO tight and close together from your part outwards. Now in the front of your head you should have about a fingers width of hair that is straight and can be gel/sprayed and pinned behind your ear. Its kinda a 60's style in the front, your hair looks loose litely swooping across your forhead but its still tight enough to not get in your face when you are dancing. Now curl your hair which is hanging down your back/shoulders into nice ringlets that will fall looser as the night goes on. If you did this right all hair should be out of your eyes and you should have good definition on the top of your hair.

Hair tips?

Hmmm..you should curl your hair, fix it with a hairspray and maybe add a barette(sp?) to complement your look. best of luck for your date!

Hair tips?

well it depends on the mood. if you are looking for something quick yet sexy classy and formal this is what you do: put most of your hair in a pony tail up high. leave out a few random spots throughout your hair (take time to make the pony tail tight too) then curl tightly the pieces you left out. with the pony tail do the same. curl as much as you can, and the pin up the curled pieces above the pony tail and work your way through the hair. that one takes a little time but an even quicker one would be to put your hair in the pony tail again all except the front inch (from ear to ear, an inch or two back from the hair line) then take one inch sections and twist them until they can't be twisted anymore then pin them down. you should have about 8 or 9 chunks along your hair that are twisted. you can do what you want with the pony, leave it straight or curl it. there are a few more but those are your quickest options

Hair tips?

shave off a strip right down the middle. That ought to blow him away. far, far, away.

Hair help, proffesionals please.?

i've done quite a bit of research about hair extensions and i have finally decided to go with clip ins. my natural hair is about down to my bra strap, and i would like it to just go down to about my mid back. im doing alot of research about them but im wondering if anybody can answer my two main questions. are the clips in convenient for everyday use? do they come out easily?

please answer thank you!

Hair help, proffesionals please.?

I don't use clips in's but I have heard good things. My fellow hairstylists use them every now and than. They are very convenient for everyday use just as long as you are keeping your hair down. They only come out every once in awhile like if taking a shower and excessive tugging at hair. Hope this helps you. Good luck.

Sewing and Hair bows?

My husband loves these things called wild rags. I'm not sure if anyone has heard of them but they are basically just a silk bandana. What I am trying to get at is he has been bugging me to make him some. I have not worked with silk before but my machine does have a foot specifically for silk and similar materials (sorry, dont know what it is called because I have not looked into it that much). When I pick out material is there anything specific I need to look at or take into account? Also, any tips for working with silk?

Also, I want to make some hair bows for my niece, but I don't know where to get the little silver clasps to put the ribbon on. You know, the ones that you push the two levers on the side and it releases the clip part. Help!!

Any suggestions and ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Sewing and Hair bows?

I have not heard of wild rags, but I will tell you what I know about silk and the clips and hope it helps!

When working with some kinds of silk, you need small, sharp pins. They have specific pins for working with silk. Regular pins will make holes that are too big and are not sharp enough to go through without damaging the silk. You would also need the appropriate needle in the machine too.

There are also many types of silk available. (Raw silk, dupioni silk for instance...) Most silk has to be dry cleaned, however I do remember my mom hand-washing a few things she made. There are silk blends that are machine washable. You would also want to launder the fabric before you begin because it will shrink. When you purchase your fabric, ask about how to launder it so that you know.

Here is just one link for sewing with silk: http://www.denverfabrics.com/pages/stati...

The hairclips can be found at the craft store. They are easy to find.

Good luck. Happy Sewing. :)

Sewing and Hair bows?

Don't know much about the first part. But the clips can be found at WalMart, Target, Most Drug Stores(Savon, RiteAid, etc.) and Beauty Supply Shops.

Sewing and Hair bows?

I used to make barrettes that matched my daughter dresses. I always used fabric and grosgrain ribbons. Used hot glue gun with the few satins that I did. I got the barrette blanks at Wal mart. They were not very expensive.

Is it okay to wear plastic hair accessories to a semi-formal event?

I have thick hair and the only way I can wear it up is with a special super grip plastic clip I have. It's black, the same color as my hair, so it blends in pretty well, but I'm worried it will look cheap or tacky. I was thinking of getting some jeweled pins to clip up my hair in the front, to draw attention away from the black plastic clip. Would that work?

The only other option I have is to go to a salon and have them use 75 pins and a ton of hair spray like I did at my wedding, but I don't really want to spend the money and time since this event isn't THAT formal, just a gala dinner. Any suggestions?

Is it okay to wear plastic hair accessories to a semi-formal event?

yes you can wear the clasp, but I would go to an arts/crafts store and find some really pretty crystals, siilk flowers, beads, sequence, whatever and and dress it up.

Is it okay to wear plastic hair accessories to a semi-formal event?

just wear the clip...its not that big of a deal

Is it okay to wear plastic hair accessories to a semi-formal event?

Use the black clip, it cant be that tacky. Its just a hair clip! Dont worry. People shouldnt be looking at what you used to make your hair pretty, they should be looking at your hair!

Other clips could help too!they mght be pretty! good luck!

Is it okay to wear plastic hair accessories to a semi-formal event?

Yeah, that would work. Unless you could find a jeweled up clip or jewel the clip up yourself with hotglue to cover the plastic.

Is it okay to wear plastic hair accessories to a semi-formal event?

well, u could buy some "bling", stick it on and if u did well then it will look good.found at Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, etc.

Is it okay to wear plastic hair accessories to a semi-formal event?

just wear it down! or put it in a french twist, but use hair pins instead of bobby pins you'll use less.

Is it okay to wear plastic hair accessories to a semi-formal event?

As long as it isnt obvious..

Is it okay to wear plastic hair accessories to a semi-formal event?

Since it is semi-formal, you could probably get away with it, but why get away with something when you can be "stunning."? Why not go to some salons or hair stores and get a hair clip that has rhinestones or designs on it? If not, you can always use the clip and then put a few jeweled pins in. Whatever makes you comfortable.

Hair Styling Accessories Advice

Add a dressy look with a simple hair accessory like a wooden hair stick or barrette. Hair accessories come in an exciting range of options, from hair clips and ponytail holders to jaw claws and crystal-studded tiaras. Wedding hair accessories must be selected keeping in mind the gown and the hairstyle. Elegant pearl clips or stone-encrusted hair jewels can add a touch of glamour be it for the bride or the bridesmaids. Look at different types of hair clamps, hair combs and pigtail accessories for little girls. Crystal encrusted hairpins can function as hair tools and yet add shimmer to your hair. Simple hair accessories can be picked up in the range of $5 to $15 for a pair.

Hair styling accessory

Whether you sport long hair or short hair, you can pick up unique hair accessories to add the special touch to your hairstyle. In fact you can play around with jeweled combs and barrettes to sweep your lustrous mane into flattering styles. Dress up short hairstyles with silk ribbon headbands in exciting colors. Tousle your hair and attach an elegant hair clip or mini barrette on one side. Alternatively you can use a set of matching hair combs on either side. Hair accessories with turquoise or iridescent topaz crystals work well with brown hair. Set off your brown hair to best advantage with a hair band or hair clip with sparkling golden diamonds. Flower hair accessories never go out of style. You can pick them up in a wide range of colors, sizes and fabrics.

They suit almost any hair length or texture. The ideal hair accessory for a summer party or a beach party is to adorn your hair with flowers. Add a touch of color to your French twist with yellow pansies, orange poppies and red rose buds. Curly hair can be held in place with tiny diamant鑼?claws. If you are adventurous, you could go in for unusually shaped or brightly colored combs, jaws or headbands. Ruffled scrunchies and elastic clips are also worth a try.

Some of the more popular hair accessories are hair slides, hair clips, crocodile clips, hair bands, hair combs, barrettes, hairpins and tiaras. Avoid pure black or pure white hair accessories. Use colors to best effect 閳?complement them with your dress and hair color. Beware of misguided hairpins or sharp barrettes that can rip fabric, scratch skin or harm an unsuspecting eye. Women with fine silky hair must choose hair accessories that grip and cling. Those with thicker hair texture can go in for hair sticks, hairpins and barrettes.

Use simpler hair accessories if you sport a short hairstyle. Leave the more elaborate and jeweled pony holders to those with longer hairstyle. Those with curly hair must select a suitable hair accessory that offers control, convenience and elegance. Decorative bridal hair snaps come embellished with crystals enclosed in elegant Tiffany settings. You can pick up simpler hair snaps that have quality fat back components. Complement a formal evening dress with a hair wreath, complete with pearls and flowers. It would add an elegant pouf on the back of your head. Use headbands made of lace, pearls or sequins for an understated look.

* Hair Sticks - Hair sticks can be a wonderful hair accessory and not just for women with long hair. You can create your own individual style with decorative hair sticks. Weave your long hair into a bun and secure it with a jeweled hair stick. Decorative hair sticks come embellished with Swarovski components, water pearls and fine stones. Pick up hair sticks made from bone, glass, wood, faux tortoiseshell or ceramic.

* Barrettes 閳?Barrettes come in different shapes, colors and sizes. They can be used to hold all or part of the hair in place. Decorative wire barrettes, plastic barrettes, stone-studded barrettes 閳?you can find them all! Barrettes can be used on fine or medium textured hair. Use barrettes to accentuate hair bangs or fringe. Avoid barrettes on very wavy hair as they can get tangled. Select a barrette to match your other jewelry accessories.

* Hair comb 閳?Hair combs have come a long way from the days of yore when they were fashioned out of animal teeth to hold hair out of the face. Hair combs have always been in style, whether the simple ones or decorative ones with stones and pearls. If you have long or thick hair, go in for a large or full-sized hair comb. Jeweled hair combs can be perched at the crown 閳?ideal to hold the hair in place and add a touch of glamour. Hair combs help in anchoring chignons, twists and buns or just accent pieces.

* Hair Clips 閳?Hairpins come in a wide variety of styles, colors, and sizes. Hair clips come in different styles 閳?alligator clip, banana clip, finger clip and Concorde. Banana clips are ideal when you want to hold back a large clump of hair as a fat knot or bun. Use sleek jeweled hair clips for an elegant chignon or updo. Hair clips can be used to hold back a few strands around the hairline or just above the ears.

Wedding hair styling accessory

Work your wedding hair accessories into your hairstyle and gown. Bridal hair accessories range from the demure to the dramatic. Opt for delicate, romantic hair sticks made with beautiful handmade light ivory porcelain roses. How about choosing an exquisite rhinestone headband instead of a staid tiara? You can use it with romantic curls or long straight hairstyle or even a formal updo. The most popular wedding hair accessory is definitely the tiara. Choose a tiara that is delicate and fragile so that it can be blended with your hairstyle. Consult your hair stylist to incorporate the tiara with your hairstyle and veil.

Child hair accessory The most common child hair accessory is the hair band 閳?ideal to pull hair back in place. Hair bands come in many shades and styles, from simple elastic bands to metallic ones or plastic hair bands. Ponytail holders for children come decorated with flowers, bows and ribbons. Pigtail accessories are the latest child hair accessories. Ribbons, hair bows and pigtail clips are some of the available options. Pick up hair brows in stripes, plaid, polka dots, plain, denim, velvet, satin, grosgrain or leopard prints. Bows come in different sizes 閳?small, medium, large and infant bows. How about personalizing your child閳ユ獨 hair accessory? You can find embroidered hair bows or ribbons with initials painted on them.

Is it okay to wear plastic hair accessories to a semi-formal event?

How about wearing your hair down? Consider how long you have before the event and try and work with it. There are so many products out there that allow you control your hair or keep the curl. How about buying a jeweled hair clip? I have seen them at places like Claire's boutique and other stores like them. I think there are lots of different options aside from wearing it up, especially if you feel self conscious about using the plastic clip or don't want to spend the money at the salon (I know what you mean about the bobby pins, I think they used about 100 on mine for a wedding once!!) Good luck!

Is it okay to wear plastic hair accessories to a semi-formal event?

Try wearing it down. Use thoes forgotten hot rollers or a curling iron. If you want the bangs back then use a nice jewelled clip. But leave the plastic clippie at home. it's a big fashion don't for even a semi formal occasion.

Curly hair....?

i have shoulder length curly hair. i am half black and white so it's fairly curly but not kinky.

is there a such thing as hair extentions i can use that matches curly hair that doesn't look fake, and i can re-use aka: clip into my hair? my main concern is for it not to look fake!

i cannot seem to grow my hair past my shoulders, i have always loved my hair but i have always wanted it longer. everytime my hair gets to my shoulders i have to trim it because my ends get to dry( i make sure to condition my hair alot), and it also seems to slow down growing when it reaches a certain length....

can anyone forward me a link where i can check it out? or let me know if this exsists?

thanks

Curly hair....?

The clip on extensions: You will need lot's of them, it will not be cost effective, they tend to fall out easy, and they will look fake.

Professional Extensions: There is a technique, that will take hair that matches your own, and it is glued with a hair-safe glue to your own hair in small sections. The result is a natural look, that you can comb and brush and style as usual. Lasts 8-12 weeks. It won't damage your hair, as the glue is silicone based and won't be absorbed into your own hair, nor will it dry out and break your hair. It isn't glued to your scalp, braided in, or woven in. Expect to pay around $500 to have your full head done.

Chemical relaxer: You can also increase your natural length by chemically loosening your natural curl. Your hair does grow, and if you pull it you can see just how long it really is. The curl is hiding the length. By loosening the curl, you're gaining inches without increasing the time to style it. It's a reverse perm, where perm solution is combed through your hair, and left to process. This won't eliminate the curl, just soften it to a looser wave depending on how long it is processed. Expect to pay around $100, and have it done 2-3 times a year.

For your ends: Deep condition your ends by rubbing a dry hair treatment into your ends before bed. Try Bed Head Split End mender. $14-$18.95 at salons. Get 1/4 inch trimmed every 6 weeks. Avoid coloring and excessive heat, use product, such as Tigi Curls Rock, and allow to dry naturally. The Curls rock does not dry stiff or crunchy like gels or mousse, but it still seperates and controls the curl and frizz.

Curly hair....?

They do exist and can also be found with human hair so they can be dyed to match your color.

Curly hair....?

www.hair-extension-sales.com/hair-attach...

Check out dis site!!!:D

Curly hair....?

Just go to your local beauty supply and they have all sorts of varieties of hair, colors and texture. Ordering online will be risky, just because you say you have a different texture of hair and you really won't get the true indication of what the hair actually looks like online. Then again, your hair can grow past the shoulders, you just have to take care of it and keep it trimmed before it actually breaks off. I trim mine every 6 weeks and my hair is past my shoulders, almost to my bra strap. Good Luck!

Having trouble with my hair extensions?

I have clip in blonde hair extensions,

I'm finding it difficult keeping them in my hair throughout the day; I want to wear them to school but I can't because they come lose no matter where I clip them in

I clip them to alot of hair and work them into the hair so they arent free and they are really close to the root

:(

help!

Having trouble with my hair extensions?

You don't just clip them into your hair and expect them to stay do you?

Well heres a few tips-

#1- Backcomb the roots of your hair, at least 1 cm of the roots backcombed well.

*Add hairspray to make the backcombed hair hold throughout the day

#2- Clip in the hair extentions to the backcombed roots part.

By backcombing the roots of the hair, it would have something for the clips to clip and hold onto throughout the day, so it would not slip down your straight hair as easily...

hope I've helped you:)

Having trouble with my hair extensions?

what saracasm? Report It

Having trouble with my hair extensions?

try teasing the root so that it gets kind of tangled in.. or you can glue them in

Having trouble with my hair extensions?

i use clip in extensions all the time, love them x

heres some things to try that should help :

if you straighten your hair, dont go right to the root. Straightening it makes it smoother and the extenisons will slip out of silky smooth hair

( this one seems to work the best) backcomb slightly at the roots. The hair will become slighty matted which will really help the extensions to stay in

for extra staying power, hairspray the roots after backcombing then put in extensions x

one last thing,

if you are planning to wear hte extensions monday then wash your hair sunday night as extensions will slip out of squeaky clean hair

hope that helps and good luck x x

Got any hairstyles for my hair?

I have shoulder length hair..maybe just a little over. I also have bangs. It goes across my forehead and gets longer to one of the sides. It doesnt cover my eyes though. I have to clip it to one side to make it go across my forehead. I most of the time just part it because its annoying. So got any new hairstyles besides putting my hair in a ponytail or leaving it down. I want outrageous hairstyles too!!

Got any hairstyles for my hair?

okay here's a good hairstyle if u don't like ur bangs:

take 2 clips or bobby pins and all of ur bangs and comb them back, and clip them in the middle of ur head *make sure u part ur hair in the middle or it will look stupid, and leave the rest down.

sorry i don't have any outrageous ones :(

well here's another one:

okay this is such a good style because it looks good on every1.

when u get out of the shower, wait like 20 minutes so ur hair isn't soaked but just damp, then take some gel or mousse and scrunch ur hair (grab the ends and push them up towards the top) u will get a cute and curly effect. *wait until the gel completely dries and top it off w/ hairspray. u can also do this hairstyle w/ a pony too, just scrunch the pony tail :) i hope i helped!! xo

Ladies hair cutting in front part of head?

Nowadays I see girls and ladies do hair cutting in the front portions of their head. They cut their long hair to 2 inches in front portions of their head. Some cut their side burns hair also. They cut the hair about 2 inches length from forehead till the centre of their head. Please tell me is it to avoid clipping or pinning hair pins in the front locks of hair? I personally feel it doesn't look good for some girls especially who have long hairs. Cutting long hair to 2 inches length of front locks of hair is terrible. Please comment

Ladies hair cutting in front part of head?

It's called bangs, and I don't know why others do. I know that I personally hate them on me.

Ladies hair cutting in front part of head?

what is the question??????

Ladies hair cutting in front part of head?

I find it pretty cool.. It's not that bad u know especially on kids. It makes the face more bright n even if u have long hair, its not necessary to cut much if it for the front bangs. Be more positive.

Ladies hair cutting in front part of head?

I have bangs, they're... they're just nicer looking. Mine are 2-3 inches long and swept to the side. Fairly easy to style, but I say it depends on the shape of your face, really.

Ladies hair cutting in front part of head?

exuse me haha sorry but i love my bangs. there off to the side and from 3-6inches i guess longer as they go down. i think they look better.

this hair is awesome. these bangs are awesomeer! lol id love hair like this

What do guys think of girls with hair extension?

For a year I personally been using the clip in ones and also tried putting in the tracks but made my scalp itchy and hated it.for! I used to have really long hair but cut it last year and am not used to short hair at all !!! My guy friend was for some random reason running his fingers through my hair and when he reached up close to my head he saw the extentions, he had a funny look on his face and i think he was holding back his reaction-- I felt really embarressed-- i dont know why-- i felt fake :( -- im not an insecure girl at all, if anything i am comfortable in my own skin and happy with whatever God gave me. BUt feeling embarressed about that made me feel very insecure and uncomfortable. Lol i felt like i wanted to get up and run and never remember the whole thing haha i know its not a big deal but well just wanted to know ppl's perspectives aswell

What do guys think of girls with hair extension?

for me its nothing,,

just,,

hair,,

w/

extension

What do guys think of girls with hair extension?

cant pull their hair during sex

What do guys think of girls with hair extension?

Personally I hate them. I think there ugly, deceptive, and obvious. But I cannot speak for all of my gender.

What do guys think of girls with hair extension?

I have found through experience that guys love natural.

What do guys think of girls with hair extension?

I like my girls genuine and natural!

What do guys think of girls with hair extension?

Ok, I'm not a guy but I have the same issue, I use hair extensions and they look great, but some guys are like "what"? I want to know how is that anymore "fake" than cosmetic surgery, Botox, or, for that matter, even makeup or Wonderbras or special jeans that make our butt look better? I think if a guy makes a big deal out of it he either needs to grow up or he needs to realize that most women, even "natural" ones, use different tools to enhance their looks, some are obvious and worn on the outside, others under clothes, others inside the body like implants! I say next time someone says something just say, yeah, I have extensions, lots of women do, it's no big deal.

What do guys think of girls with hair extension?

Hahaha this is a natural reaction........whew1 especially some guys who love running their fingers in a girls' hair..the feeling was yuckie for him maybe..well, he imagined whose hair was extended in yours..and he couldnt comment and the action spoke louder than his words..hahaha.it is like kissing a girl on her lips and when reached the mouth, you felt she had false teeth.oh thats gross...I would feel the same If I were in his shoes..so get out of those extensions, just let the fresh air penetrate in your real ahir and feel the cool breeze kissing your hair and best the lovely fingers of your friend...nothing can beat natural things , isnt it?ok???feels so romantic~~~

What do guys think of girls with hair extension?

I once had a guy ask me if I was "real". I said, "What you see, is what you get." He asked about my boobs - real. He asked about my tan, "I said what tan?" He asked about my hair. I highlighted it so the gray stood out, at 33. My nails were mine, I painted them every week. I didn't care if I broke one. I also have stretch marks and that's my embarrassment. Everything about me is real and what you see, is what you get.

I have big white streaks in my hair and I think it's cool. I would never wear extensions because I love having a guy run his fingers through my hair. I want a guy to like me for what I am, not my boobs, hair, nails or tan. I lose the tan, clip the nails and cut the hair. Sometimes, I wish I could lose the boobs.

Get rid of the extensions and just be yourself.

Scared to let my hair down?!?

I always keep my hair up, and i have (not to be so ignorant or rude) such nice LONG blonde hair, and everyone gets mad at me for keeping it up.

I think its b.c i hate having attention...

Urgh, (im not like gorgeous or anything..) but i think i look good with it down. but i hate to have attention on me...

PLZ, what do i do!?!

Is there any tips when I leave it down?

-Like take a piece at the front and clip it back? etc?

Thanks so much! Any info would be great! Thx!

Scared to let my hair down?!?

leave it down and see what happends don't do anything to your hair ( nno clip)

Scared to let my hair down?!?

awh, why do you hate attention ?

it's good for you to get some attention every once in a while !

Scared to let my hair down?!?

Why do you care what other people think?

Scared to let my hair down?!?

Three little birds, sat on my window.

And they told me I don't need to worry.

Summer came like cinnamon

So sweet,

Little girls double-dutch on the concrete.

Maybe sometimes, we've got it wrong, but it's alright

The more things seem to change, the more they stay the same

Oh, don't you hesitate.

Girl, put your records on, tell me your favourite song

You go ahead, let your hair down

Sapphire and faded jeans, I hope you get your dreams,

Just go ahead, let your hair down.

You're gonna find yourself somewhere, somehow.

Scared to let my hair down?!?

yes

Scared to let my hair down?!?

you could like well if you have long grown out bangs you could pull them back in like a clip on the top of your head flat or a bugar[[we made up the name at our school]] but its were you do that but you push it up

Scared to let my hair down?!?

put it down, then up, then down, mix it up at least, or try it for a day or two.... at least try it down...

Scared to let my hair down?!?

you should put it down

if you really want to.

(and don't let all the attention

bother you that much)

you might

get some attention at first,

but it will definately wear off

(not meaning in a bad way)

You'll get used to it,

or it'll end soon enough.

but let it down if you really want,

because i'm sure it

really does look gorgeous

and you should let everyone

see that.

Just remember there's a difference

between being pretty

and being pretty but soaking it all in.

Scared to let my hair down?!?

I'm the same way-only i have brown thick long hair (not trying to be ignorant either)

everyone tells me to put it down

i let it down once in a while

good atention is not bad, so just be confiden and enjoy atention everyonce in a while, but keep it up most days

thats what i do

let it down.

Scared to let my hair down?!?

I used to be exactly like that too! I wore my hair up like every single day and now I wear it down every day!

I think if people are begging you to leave it down, and you don't like a lot of attention, why don't you just wear it down sometimes, and once you get more comfortable with it, wear it down more often!

Having just the front part up is also a good idea too! :D:D

Scared to let my hair down?!?

Same here! I think I look really pretty with my hair down ( My hair is longer than shoulder length and layered and shiny black), but I hate drawing attention to myself, so I do the Half-Up Half-Down Ponytail.

Scared to let my hair down?!?

Just let it down then.

Scared to let my hair down?!?

I am the same way but sometime its good to be different so just let it down and let it blow and since you don't like attention just ignore it. If someone is trying to talk to you ignore them it won't hurt.

Scared to let my hair down?!?

Leave half of it down.

Scared to let my hair down?!?

Leave it down - its good to have change once in a while

Scared to let my hair down?!?

Deffinately wear it down. and unless you already have them, at your next hair appointment, get sidebangs. A lot of people have them and you might blend in more.

Scared to let my hair down?!?

The guy in the sky gave you good hair. Be thankful. Let your hair down.

How can I put up my hair without creasing it?

Lightly putting it up?

Some sort of clip?

How else can I put it up! I dont like to straighten my hair everyday!

How can I put up my hair without creasing it?

i think that they have hairbands that wond dent hair

How can I put up my hair without creasing it?

when you put it up dont pull so hard and smooth it out

How can I put up my hair without creasing it?

i like to put my hair up in the middle of the day but i don't want a bump because i'll end up taking it down. I usually wrap my hairband around my hair 4 times, but if i don't want a dent i only do it 3. It's still out of my face plus you get a cute messy ponytail look.

How can I put up my hair without creasing it?

let your hair down

twist it until it starts to twist like a pigs tail

form it into a bun

when your holding the last very tip of your hair put the whole hair band/scruncii around it as if it were a pony tail

Whats somthing cute I can do with my hair? I'm just about to take a shower, so it will be wet.?

I have moose, hair spray, a straightener, clips, ponytails, blow dryer, gel (but I dont really like gel), a brush, a comb, and I might have some more stuff. You can ask if you want to know if I have somthing and i'll post it in a detail and then you can edit your answer.

So please tell me somthing I can do with my hair thats cute. I want somthing new because I always seem to scrunch my hair, put it in a pony tail, or straighten it.

Whats somthing cute I can do with my hair? I'm just about to take a shower, so it will be wet.?

wear it in pigtails or braids.

Whats somthing cute I can do with my hair? I'm just about to take a shower, so it will be wet.?

just add mousse and a little gel (since u dont like it) and hang it loose. it will have this sexy after-shower, fresh curl look. most models have it

Whats somthing cute I can do with my hair? I'm just about to take a shower, so it will be wet.?

what length and type of hair do you have?

Whats somthing cute I can do with my hair? I'm just about to take a shower, so it will be wet.?

It's the summer and it's hot out, so there would not be anything wrong with wearing a pony tail to get it away from your neck. Personally, I put mine in a pony tail and then a head band too. If you're tired of your pony tail then just wear the head band. One of the benefits of taking a shower in the summer is that you can go outside with a wet head. If you're at all worried about going outside with a wet head then blow dry it into a fluffy flowing hairstyle. When you do this, you won't even have to use the straightener to straighten it.

Whats somthing cute I can do with my hair? I'm just about to take a shower, so it will be wet.?

u should braid your hair i little braids and then take them off when your done they will look awesome

Does it matter how long your hair is when getting hair extensions?

I have pretty short hair, and really want extentions, like - if you ever go to myspace and see the girls with it short on top and then long long extensions, I have the short part, now I just want extensions. If I were to get the kind with the track and someone weaving it in, wouldn't my hair be too short to actually make a track? And with the glue, it just sounds like it's stupid - I wear fake eyelashes and that already frustrates me enough. I'm thinking of making my own clip-ins - they sound easy and less expensive, which will go through with using my mom's money (haha).

Any suggestions though?

Does it matter how long your hair is when getting hair extensions?

extensions are good i would suggest you go w/ that idea

Does it matter how long your hair is when getting hair extensions?

if you go to someone experienced and , by short, you have enough hair to have attachments, you will have no problem getting extensions. Try it.

Does it matter how long your hair is when getting hair extensions?

You can get the ones with weave on clips which may be better. But the have to be sewed on properly.

If the short is part is longer than an inch then you could get the hair plaited as cainrows then the hairdresser can sew the hair on your hair.

Some one with small hands will be able to do it.

Does it matter how long your hair is when getting hair extensions?

depending on who you go to get it done but it shouldn't be any problem with you gettin them done. even if your hair short. the can braid your hair down n sew some extensions in for you. but yea it shouldn't be a problem to get it done but make sure u get someone that is a professional to do it for u

Does it matter how long your hair is when getting hair extensions?

def dont do it yourslef with the clip ins. that is tacky. do not glue tracks in your hair. it is messy, takes out your hair, and slips out and you cant wash them. you should get your extensions sewed in. go to a professional it is expensive $200+ but worth it in the end. you can style it ,wash it, and leave it in for months.

i have the same problem!

i usually just wear my hair down, and i got side bangs cuz i thought it helps too.

Duz anybody know any hair styles for round faces? (chubbyish cheeks)?

don't get a bob...and make sure your hair isn't flat on top of your head

Duz anybody know any hair styles for round faces? (chubbyish cheeks)?

UMM..... I would suggest side bangs and medium layers thats what I have and I look great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Duz anybody know any hair styles for round faces? (chubbyish cheeks)?

Straightish hair with slight curl at bottom, longish-length bob, down, with side bangs, layered, no hair clips or major pony tails, maybe a bright small clip to hold up part of the front.

Duz anybody know any hair styles for round faces? (chubbyish cheeks)?

Updo's with some pieces around the face and longer hair (below the chin) with face framing layers look great on round face shapes. Avoid any blunt chin length style as it will widen the face.

Layers around the face help to offset the roundness giving the appearance of the ideal oval face shape. Side swept bangs give a pear like illusion so I'm surprised at the mention of this on other posts. It is true that adding volume to the top is helpful while reducing volume at the sides. Short layered hair above the chin does look great with round faces as well if that would be a consideration. It is also true to avoid middle parts

Duz anybody know any hair styles for round faces? (chubbyish cheeks)?

Hair down either wavy or curly, with side bangs. The volume in the curls/waves will even out the proportions of your face and the side bangs will play up your cheekbones.

Duz anybody know any hair styles for round faces? (chubbyish cheeks)?

-very long bangs or no bangs swept to one side

-hair parted on the side

-no pieces should be cut shorter then the bottom of chin

-no volume on the sides of your face (like large curls)

-volume at the top makes face appear longer and thinner

-these work best with straight hair

Duz anybody know any hair styles for round faces? (chubbyish cheeks)?

short hair looks great on chubby faces.

Duz anybody know any hair styles for round faces? (chubbyish cheeks)?

I have a round face too.

Definitly Curls.

Actually the one time I got my hair straightened all my friends told me to go wet my hair and get it curly again. They hated it with my rounder face.

Just wear it down in curls with clips or whatever you want. It would be pretty long too.
